Fort Myers Chamber names CRS as ‘Small Business of the Year’ 

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce named CRS Technology Consultants as its 2025 Small Business of the Year.

Presented July 17 at Caloosa Sound Convention Center in Fort Myers, the Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a for-profit company with less than 50 employees that exhibits community leadership, exemplary business practices, innovation and creativity in business. Honorees also must demonstrate a commitment to employee support and development.

Founded in 1993, CRS serves partners across multiple industries and employs 23 IT professionals. The firm provides managed cloud services and business continuity services through hybrid and comprehensive IT solutions.

In addition to CRS, Small Business of the Year finalists included Global Strategies and Stickboy.

About the Small Business of the Year Award

Small Business of the Year was one of nine categories that comprised the 2025 Chamber Awards. Others included Large Business of the Year, Community Impact Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, Nonprofit Excellence Award, Young Professional of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, APEX Award and Elected Official of the Year. The criteria for the Small Business of the Year Award included the following:
  • Must be an active business located or operating in the Greater Fort Myers area.
  • Must be in good standing with the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.
  • Must have less than 50 employees.
  • Must have primary source of revenue from business operations, rather than grants, donors or governmental funding.
  • Must be a member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce for 1+ years.
  • Must demonstrate one or more of the following characteristics:
    • Exemplary contributions for the betterment of the Fort Myers area over a continuous period.
    • Innovation and creativity in business decisions or in the development of specific products or services.
    • Community leadership by participating in community activities and contributing time, effort and resources.
    • Significant accomplishments in the past year and demonstrated commitment to employee support and development.
